Series Link feature on PVR
In this Series Link feature, just press "Record" button twice and it will record the entire series, useful right? But there's something you need to ensure with.
You have to make sure when a particular programme is showing on that time and you've booked your recording, your PVR decoder must be powered on. Standby your decoder or watching your programme as usual also possible. And make sure there's enough free space for recordings.
Let say, if Series Link is activated and your PVR decoder is recording that programme, and you didn't realise that it's recording in the background, and you switched off the power.
Your programme will be recorded till the moment you power off the decoder, which means your programme is recorded partially.
For example: Your programme starts at 11.00pm till 12.00am. But you power off your PVR decoder at 11.30pm, that means your PVR decoder recorded 30 minutes from a 1 hour programme! The next 30 minutes is not recorded! Hence, you can't expect your PVR decoder still able to record if your PVR decoder is powered off, isn't?
Just if you accidentally did, you may record it again when the programme repeats, or alternatively you can download the programme from On Demand library by connecting your PVR box to your home internet (e.g. WiFi).
