Q: I wanna ask that value pack 3 include family pack + basic HD channel right? why the HD channel in my subscription just can watch quanjia HD and Food Network HD ? before that, ONE HD still can work but now it shows me that " service currently not available ". I have the same problem in another HD channel too. that is not due to rain and I had check the cable connection, it still cannot work. Please help me solve the problem. thx
A: Value Pack 3 (also known as Wah Pack) is included Family Pack, New Emperor, HD Service and Wah Lai Toi channel. At least, you should able to watch all the 10 basic HD channels (Maya HD, Quan Jia HD, KBS World HD, One HD, Disney XD, AXN HD, FX HD, Food Network Asia HD, Life Inspired HD, and Kix HD). Most probably there's some technical error on their system. You need to call Astro customer service for further assistance, which is 1300-82-3838, or you can post your enquiry on Astro Facebook page here.

Q: bila sy cuba tekan vhannel 134&135 di remote astro.. stu error msg akn kuar.. 'channel not available'... ada x cara untuk sy update channel ni??sy dh cuba forced update decoder trsebut..ttp x jd.. adakak dekoder sy brmasalah???
A: Saluran 134 dan 135 adalah saluran HD. Awak harus melanggan sekurang-kurang Family HD pack atau HD service untuk menonton saluran HD tersebut. Untuk Astro Mustika HD (ch134), awak harus langgan pakej Mustika, Nilai Pek atau Super Pack 1 untuk menonton saluran tersebut. Astro Maya HD (ch135) adalah saluran HD percuma, bererti awak boleh menonton saluran ini asalkan awak langgan pakej sekurang-kurang Family HD pack atau HD service.

Q; Programmes are randomly booked even though I didn't even do so. I had to check my schedule often just to make sure nothing unwanted is added. How do I fix this?

Q: I have just upgraded to Astro B.yond with a "small" decoder manufactured by Samsung. The problem is that it does not work with the HDMI splitter that splitted to 2 TVs. I have tested it in my friend house using the non Samsung manufactured decoder and it work perfectly. I wonder whether Samsung or Astro barred people from viewing astro on two TVs in this new decoder?

Q: tv alhijrah , is in HD right ? so why my decoder not support to HDMI service ?
A: As of 21 Nov 2013, TV Al Hijrah that show in Astro is only available in SD version only. NJOI channel offerings does not offer any HD channels yet.

Q: i'm subscribe Astro B.yond with HD service connect with an LED LCD TV service about one year. last few days when i switching to HD channel ,screen is blank and display "copy protection failed" .SD channel without this problem.. its software or hardware problem? i'm currently using Ver7.0 . thx.
A: If "Media Protection Failed" message appears on your TV, please make sure:
i) You're using HDMI 1.3 and above cables with HDCP compliant.
ii) Your HDTV must support HDCP. Usually older models of HDTV might cause this.
iii) Try other HDMI inputs on your HDTV.
If you use HDMI splitters, make sure it supports HDCP compliant.

Q: No issues actually, just wanted to share an experience. Couple weeks back, I have force update my decoder to resolve a bug issue, after update completed it now comes with a new transformed UI. I replicate the the force update on other decoder, but didnt get the same result. Is it because my satellite settings are "user defined" that I got a new UI? For pictures, do email me..i will share with you
A: What is the version number after the update? You may show me the pictures by upload the pictures to http://minus.com don't worry no registration required. Click "Upload" on your top left-hand corner. If you want to upload multiple pictures, click the drop-down arrow beside the "Upload" button. Once you've uploaded it and your picture(s) comes out, copy the URL on your address bar and re-submit the form again here.

Q: When watching HD channel 392, the screen goes dark nad sound goes off for 2 seconds, then resumes. This happens once in a while. It has happened since I subscribed to byond last week.
A: Is this happens on Live TV or Live Pause? Is this happens only in KBS World HD (ch392) or it happens on any HD channels? And, does this issue still occurs, as this is just a "once in a blue moon" minor issue. I cannot answer your question as the answers may be vary. Q: I cant control volumes through astro remote control, but light on the remote is blinking
A: Is this happens on Red Button enabled channels? If yes, press "ok" on your Astro B.yond remote control then you can control the volume already. You need to do that every time if that particular channel has Red Button.

Q: Hi, I just upgrade/subscribe Astro IPTV service. Astro person change my old decoder with new same model as previous model. my concern is, am i should get new Samsung decoder which is buildin wifi when i upgrade/subscribe Astro IPTV?
A: Astro will provide you the Samsung manufactured decoder if you request Astro via phone. If you don't, they will give you the usual PVR decoder (manufactured by Technicolor). But once you use the usual PVR decoder, you cannot change/upgrade your decoder to Samsung manufactured ones until your 24 months contract ends. Call Astro to know more.

Q: astro lambat respond kepada arahan. contohnya bile cuba tukar channel ke 132. dengan taip 132 di remote control, astro mengambil masa lebih dari 1 minit untuk tukar saluran terbabit. kadang-kadang tidak responsive langsung.
